OOTD: Baseball Girl

As some of you know (or noticed), I don't buy into trends very easily, and when I really like something, be it a "passing trend" or a classic, I incorporate it into my everyday basics and rarely let it go. The varsity jacket - or vest in this case - is a very good example of my philosophy. I'm not letting go of it. 

In other news, these past weeks have been hectic - in the best possible way - so I'm left with a list of things to show you that I have only just started going through. Stay tuned!

Como alguns de vocês já devem saber (ou ter percebido), eu não me deixo influenciar muito facilmente por tendências, e quando eu realmente gosto de algo, seja modinha ou não, eu incorporo aquele item e faço dele uma peça chave do meu guarda-roupa - aquelas que eu sempre uso. A jaqueta varsity - ou colete nesse caso, é um ótimo exemplar dessa minha filosofia, virou um clássico para mim.

Mudando de assunto, essas últimas semanas foram super corridas, por isso acabei acumulando várias coisas para mostrar p/ vocês. Fiquem ligadas/os!

OOTD: Mixin' and Matchin'

New York is one of my favorites cities in the world. Having said that, I couldn't resist picking up this gorgeous t-shirt at Zara last week.. it has that kind of vintage souvenir feel to it with I simply adore. 

As for the handbag, I have been wearing all week long as it gives a great pop of color to any outfit.

Nova York é uma das cidades que mais amo no mundo. Por causa disso, não pude resistir quando vi essa camiseta na Zara semana passada.. ela tem uma pegada de souvenir vintage que eu adoro.
A bolsa eu usei a semana inteira porque ela dá um efeito de ponto de cor muito legal para um look mais sobrio.

OOTD: Hawaii is here

I acknowledge the fact that these jeans may not be everyone's cup of tea. I for one am head over heels in love with them - I can't get enough of the tropical/hawaiian trend.

Ever since they arrived about three weeks ago I have been wearing them nonstop and was just waiting to put together the perfect outfit to show you. I have my basic days but my passion lies in risqué ensembles.

Sei que esses jeans vão ser um "divisor de opiniões". Algumas de vocês vão detestar, mas eu amo eles (e isso é o que mais importa não é mesmo) - estou apaixonada pela tendência havaiana/tropical.

Desde que essa calça chegou umas três semanas atrás eu tenho usado sem parar, só estava esperando pelo look perfeito p/ mostrar p/ vocês. Eu tenho meus dias básicos mas no fundo eu gosto de arriscar.

A calça não está mais a venda, mas vocês ainda podem encontrar a versão em shorts aqui.

OOTD: Shimmer

I present to you my new favorite top.. it is shimmery and easy to wear and I'll surely be wearing the hell out of it. I paired it with my h&m sweatpants just because I wanted to go for a more laid-back look and I happen to think it worked.

What's your opinion? Do you like my top and how would you wear it?

Apresento a vocês minha nova blusa favorita. Ela é brilhosa e fácil de usar e eu sem dúvida vou usá-la muito! Combinei a blusa com essa calça de moleton porque queria um look mais casual e acho que funcionou.

Hello lovelies.

This is a little something I threw on to go to the movies last night, I watched American Reunion. Even thought it's not my favorite kind of movie, I found it super funny and it took me back to my early teenage years when I watched the first movies of the series. 

These Christian Louboutin flats are making their first appearance here on the blog, I bought them on sale a few years ago when I spent some time in Canada on an exchange student program. Needless to say they're my babies and I only wear them on "special occasions".

Usei este look pare ir no cinema ontem assistir American Pie: O Reencontro. Mesmo não sendo meu tipo de filme favorito, eu achei super engraçado e me fez lembrar meus anos de pré-adolescencia quando assisti os primeiros filmes da série.

Essa sapatilhas Louboutin estão fazendo sua primeira aparição aqui no blog, comprei em liquidação quando passei um tempo no Canadá em um intercâmbio. Não preciso nem dizer que elas são minhas sapatilhas favoritas e que só uso em ocasiões especiais.

Hey girlies!

I wore this outfit for a lovely walk in the park followed by a quick stop at a cafe for a bite to eat.

As you can see, it was getting dark but I decided to keep my sunnies on for the pictures as I think it adds a lot to the outfit. These are by far my favorite pair of sunglasses, they have an Audrey Hepburn feel to them which helps give a little retro-glam touch to even the simplest ensembles.

Usei esse look para um caminhada no parque seguida de um delicioso lanchinho em um café.

Como vocês podem ver, já estava anoitecendo mas decidi ficar com os óculos escuros para tirar as fotos, porque eles são muitos importantes no look. Esses são meus óculos favoritos, eles me lembram de Audrey Hepburn e dão um toque retro-glam para qualquer roupa.

Vocês também tem um par de óculos predileto? O que acham dos meus?
